In trying to upgrade my blog software, I have somehow screwed up my gallery, so most of the images have disappeared from my blog. I am working on the problem, but for now all I have is a visually boring blog. To bad, since I was working on an entry introducing another even older Japanese girls’ magazine.

Oh no! I’m behind on updating my WordPress blogs too. I hope this doesn’t happen to me! I really like WordPress but sometimes it’s hard to fix things when they go wrong.
I just added your blog to StumbleUpon–apparently I was the first person to add the main page, go figure. Who knows, maybe you’ll get a traffic spike.

Thanks for adding me to StumbleUpon, Clarissa. Yeah, I wish both WordPress and Gallery2 were a lot more plug-and-play, no-expertise-required than they are. WordPress Automatic Upgrade isn’t working, and I suspect it is the culprit behind Gallery2 kicking the bucket, but I can’t a support response from either WPAU or Gallery2, and am still in limbo. It’s quite frustrating. The instructions for manually upgrading WordPress make my head spin, and I’m afraid to do any more damage.

I hope you can get the gallery fixed! I’m fascinated by early to mid 20th century Japanese illustrations and finding your entry about the shojo magazines was wonderful.

Something I do not see the feedback form, or other co-ordinates the administration of your blog.
